Dave worked directly in construction before obtaining his engineering degree. Fourteen years of hands on experience has given him excellent understanding of construction "buildability". He is able to provide each client with a comprehensive understanding of the way things work and has a remarkable ability to respond quickly to any problem encountered during the construction phase.

Dave has a strong background in complex residential structures, commercial buildings and educational facilities, designing cost-effective solutions to challenging structural problems.

After twelve years with his own structural design firm, Steve merged with Kenneth Cambell Associates in 1996, becoming a full partner in 1999. Since then the firm's name has changed to Rogina Pestell structural engineers. Steve's twenty plus years of experience reinforced with consistent improvement through continuing education has created a firm foundation in basic building types. His meticulous attention to detail reduces costly problems during construction.

Steve has worked with many Architects and designers on a wide variety of projects including residential, wineries, commercial and seismic renovations.
